Product Innovation:
Introducing New Dow Styrofoam Weathermate
Plus Brand House wrap.
Sanford
& Hawley proudly announces the arrival of Dow STYROFOAM WEATHERMATE
Plus brand house wrap. With this introduction, Sanford & Hawley and
Dow provide a solution for those builders who prefer to use a house
wrap along with non- insulating sheathing.
Non-woven, non-perforated,
polyolefin-based STYROFOAM WEATHERMATE Plus brand house wrap excels
in the four core areas that builders should be looking for in a house
wrap:
- Air resistance: reduces
drafts, both increases comfort and reduces energy loss from the home.
- Water resistance: minimizes
water penetration, which keeps wood sheathings drier and reduces the
potential for rot, degradation and energy loss.
- Moisture vapor permeability:
allows moisture vapor to escape from behind the house wrap, reducing
condensation potential and inherent moisture problems that lead to rot,
degradation and energy loss.
- Durability: enhanced job
site and long-term strength. After all, if a wrap can't stand up to
jobsite abuse, how can you expect it to withstand air, water and time?
With exceptional strength in
these key elements, STYROFOAM WEATHERMATE Plus brand house wrap
simply outperforms perforated and woven products.
STYROFOAM WEATHERMATE
Plus brand house wrap is avail able in a variety of convenient sizes to
meet a wide range of project specifications. The products are currently
available in 9' x 100' and 3' x 100' rolls.
When installed over non- insulating
sheathing, STYROFOAM WEATHERMATE Plus brand house wrap is ideal
for reducing air infiltration and moisture damage. However, STYROFOAM
brand rigid foam insulation is a step above this level of protection,
in that it offers the added energy savings benefit associated with thermal
insulation.
NEW STYROFOAM WEATHERMATE
Plus brand house wrap, the latest product in Dow and Sanford & Hawley's
effort to protect the homes you build.
